Advanced Controlling ist ein vierstündiges Pflichtmodul im Master BWU, bei dem anhand von Fallstudien der Harvard Business School Controlling-Konzepte aus der Theorie in die unternehmerische Praxis übertragen werden sollen.
A case study describes a realistic business situation. Students are placed in the role of the decision maker.
A person has to make an important management decision, is faced with new business challenges or incomplete information within the organization.
Students read through the situation an identify the problem they are faced with. The next step is to perform the necessary business and financial analysis - examining the given qualitative and quantitative data, investing the causes, and considering alternative actions to come to a set of recommendations.
