The specifications of a device need to be verified and demonstrated. This lecture aims to enable students to properly and meaningfully utilize devices for measuring electrical quantities during various practical sessions throughout their studies and later in their professional careers. Emphasis is placed on potential errors and error propagation.

After covering electromechanical and electronic devices for measuring electrical quantities, methods for measuring voltages, currents, power, and resistances are discussed. Many measurements are automated. The knowledge acquired in the lecture is applied by students in the corresponding practical session.
